MY STORY

Over the past ten years I have swung between creative and organisational roles. Creatively my focus has been content and communications with roles spanning research, editing, proofreading and content creation. In an organisational capacity I have been people-focused, with onboarding, recruiting, account management and client relations.

Over the last few years, I have been able to follow my passion for learning and knowledge as a student of English Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin.

Along with a love of literature and the written word I am also passionate about travelling and food. I like to capture aspects of the world around me, whether linguistically or visually. All of the photographs on this site were taken by me with the exception of "Oma" and the picture above, of me climbing Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa (my home city!)

I have now completed my degree (hoorah!) and I am ready for a new challenge in an exciting organisation. I would love to explore my passion for working with content, in a company that has a strong sense of social responsibility. I really enjoy writing and the use of inspiring content to communicate a message in a clear and effective manner.  Other areas I have experience in and would like to explore further are internal communications, editing and proofreading, digital media and print production, and digital publishing.
